Dragging,  also known as strié, is a technique where a brush or comb is dragged through wet paint or glaze, creating fine, parallel lines that mimic the look of natural materials such as wood grain or fabric. This method adds a sense of movement and sophistication, making surfaces appear more intricate and detailed.
